Grabbed my phone and headed out into our courtyard this afternoon when I spied this rainbow brewing. Who doesn’t love rainbows!
This is a grimy back-alley and there are always bins of stinky rubbish from Chapel st restaurants just near where I took this shot. I really like this shot today.
Another amazing building I discovered, just by looking up.
Big Store was built on Chapel st in 1902 and closed in 1968. A second store, almost as large as the main store, once stood in the carpark to the west, beyond Cato Street, linked by cross-over walkways. This large Edwardian building is currently used by Coles Supermarkets – they are in the ground floor – just think of all those extra unused levels. (thanks wiki)
Totally uninspiring… I almost went to sleep without taking a single shot yesterday. Have an awful cold.
Therein lies the challenge, to make the uninspiring just slightly more so.
I turned the camera on myself (as is my custom) late on Monday night as I hadn’t yet taken any shots for the day.
Snapped the Bayer building as we drove to the airport… it’s not a beautiful building but it is an icon in it’s own right.
Tail lights at sunset in a suburban street in Maroubra.
