The watermelon looked so juicy and delicious as I cut it up for Amelia – I grabbed the Canon to snap it. I love the fine detail of the flesh and the shine that this shot has picked up.
I love this toy of Amelia’s and I love the macro lens on my Canon G12.
There’s some play on the light with our cumquat tree against the house. I like watching the changing shadows as the day progresses.
Manzel, Amelia and I checked out the new-ish Vietnamese cafe/bar Hanoi Hannah on High St. It was the perfect way to spend the warmest winter day we’ve had this season.
I chowed down on a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup – a fresh beef pho – and topped that off with the juice of a young coconut. Yum!
This tulip is one from a bunch I received for my birthday from a friend in mothers group. My macro lens on the G12 had a hard time getting exactly what I wanted in focus – but after much playing around – (almost) success!
This is so gross it had to be the shot of the day. Any guesses what it is?
Food was delicious, service great and the brothers are highly recommended. Check ’em out next time you’re in Caulfield.
