These weathered wooden boat upturned on Shelly beach caught my eye during the classic Manly-Shelly walk. The filter “1974” in CameraBag created the perfect look for this subject.
Today was an absolutely amazing day to enjoy a walk in the sunshine.
We paid a visit to Brighton beach – the one in Melbourne – on Saturday. These gorgeous beach huts are sprinkled throughout the Port Phillip bay area but Brighton beach is home to the only beach huts within Melbourne. These bathing boxes are more than 100 years old (the earliest dates from 1862) and show the prudish morality of Victorian times. These stationary boxes were an evolution of the bathing machine (which sounds hilarious!)
From left to right; me (with Amelia in her baby carrier, brother and my mum).
Perfect day for a stroll in St Kilda.
