August 25, 2012 – Alannah Hill window

For those who are not familiar with Alannah Hill’s designs – they are exceedingly girly and ultra feminine. The current window display at their Chapel St store is simply gorgeous with all these fresh spring flowers suspended in glass jars.


August 10, 2012 – Roses

I bought this beautiful bouquet for a friend’s birthday today. They just screamed at me, albeit very softly and serenely. She loved them.

June 16, 2012 – Wet wattle

The first day proper of a week in Sydney and it pours with rain. I got into a raincoat, bundled Amelia into the pram and set out on the footpaths of my youth around the area my parents live. Every step I took brought back so many memories.

Among the memories, I found this beautiful new season wattle.

June 7, 2012 – Tulip up close

This tulip is one from a bunch I received for my birthday from a friend in mothers group. My macro lens on the G12 had a hard time getting exactly what I wanted in focus – but after much playing around – (almost) success!

I got out and hit the bars on Saturday night. These gorgeous orchids made a stunning bar decoration at one of the bars – where I had a gorgeous passionfruit cocktail, called a “tit babbler”?
