I bought this beautiful bouquet for a friend’s birthday today. They just screamed at me, albeit very softly and serenely. She loved them.
I love this toy of Amelia’s and I love the macro lens on my Canon G12.
This tulip is one from a bunch I received for my birthday from a friend in mothers group. My macro lens on the G12 had a hard time getting exactly what I wanted in focus – but after much playing around – (almost) success!
I don’t have many matches (I wouldn’t say I’m a collector) but I hang onto them when I see them. I keep them in a red vintage vase and I stuck the camera down inside it to take this shot.
This image begins a few days of a period of what artists commonly refer to as “not my best work”. I was struck by gastro (yuk) on Sunday night so I was quite restricted on Monday to what I could capture from my couch.
My favourite part of this shot is the sliver of late afternoon sky in the top corner.
I was staying at my mother-in-law’s home and as you enter the lounge room, your eye is always drawn to the family photos on the sideboard.
It is always dust-free and shows her three children (including manžel), their partners and her five grandchildren.
