I am running waaaaaaay behind on posting my photo-a-day. We had a wonderful day at the zoo basking in the early springtime sunshine.

August 17, 2012 – Amelia eating (again)
Today I totally forgot to take a picture for the blog or see with my creative eyes when we were out. Excuse 1; Amelia had a bad cold, excuse 2; we didn’t go far from the house.
She did have beetroot for lunch and I sent a photo to manzel – and so this is all I have to post. At least the editing process today was easy.

I love this shot of Amelia. We were just out strolling and I saw her watching a building on the other side of the street. She’s so deep in concentration.
June 9, 2012 – The hole gets bigger
Amelia has lots of clothes that are hand-me-downs from her cousins. This pair of pj’s needs some darning as this poor hole used to be a tiny thing where you could just see her big toe. Soon enough her whole foot will be through it!
June 1, 2012 – Exploring the grass
Amelia and I spent part of the afternoon just hanging at the park. She loves getting her fingers into the grass and pulling it out!

April 11, 2012 – Can you see the baby?
As a new parent, the saying “let a sleeping baby lie” rings very true. We let Amelia sleep in the car for an hour taking shifts to keep an eye on her. I love the way you can hardly see her as the reflections dominate the shot.

A friend recommended the app CameraBag, so I experimented today with the various effects on offer. A bit of fun and I really like this shot of Amelia in her playtime mirror.

Amelia sleeps in the pram at the entry to Grattan Gardens in Prahran. I liked the dark and ominous atmosphere, the rough looking gate, pigeons in the distance.
